The Broncos added to their right tackle competition Thursday night by agreeing to terms with veteran Billy Turner on a one-year contract, a league source confirmed.
The Broncos could enter the offseason program next month with a three-person race at right tackle as Turner joins Calvin Anderson and Tom Compton.
Turner, 30, was at the Broncos’ facility last week for a visit and physical and returns to the club he played for in 2017-18 (11 starts). He started all 43 of his regular-season games for the Packers over the last three years and is reunited with coach Nathaniel Hackett and offensive coordinator Justin Outten, who were on Green Bay’s staff all three seasons.
