Broncos add OL James Ferentz, TE Mitchell Henry from waivers

The Denver Broncos continued tinkering with the 53-man roster a bit on Sunday as players were waived all across the league, and they’ve announced the addition of offensive lineman James Ferentz (Texans) and Mitchell Henry (Packers).

Ferentz, a former Iowa Hawkeyes center, will replace Gino Gradkowski on the Broncos’ 53-man roster and give the team some additional interior line depth. The son of long-time Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz, James comes to Denver well-versed in zone blocking concepts with the ability to play multiple positions.

Henry is an undrafted rookie free agent from the Packers via Western Kentucky, who has a bit of a lighter frame at 6’4″ 252 pounds but is a solid pass catching option.
