ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Second-year nose tackle Kyle Peko is back on the Broncos’ active roster, as Denver promoted him from the practice squad Saturday to bolster the defensive line.
The Broncos waived rookie Tyrique Jarrett in a corresponding move.
Peko has had a busy two weeks since the Broncos’ initial roster was set on Sept. 2. He was waived, re-signed to the active roster, waived again, re-signed to the practice squad — where he spent most of 2016 — and then added to the Broncos’ 53-man roster on Saturday.
A healthy Zach Kerr would also figure into the rotation, but he was listed as questionable heading into Sunday.
