The Denver Broncos made a series of moves this afternoon to retool their roster.
After placing Tyler Badie on injured reserve a few days earlier, undrafted rookie linebacker Levelle Bailey was added to the 53-man roster to fill the one-spot vacancy. He had an impressive preseason and flashed with an interception return for a touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals. With Cody Barton and Justin Strnad playing good at linebacker, expect Bailey to earn most of his reps on special teams if he is active on game day.
However, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get some looks defensively as a blitzer later on this season.
