Broncos add Chris Kragthorpe as offensive quality control coach

The Broncos added Chris Kragthorpe as offensive quality control coach.

Kragthrope was an offensive assistant for Louisiana State last year after previously serving as a graduate assistant at Georgia and LSU.

The oldest son of Steve Kragthorpe, LSU’s special assistant to the head coach and chief of staff, Chris was an offensive lineman at Division III Wheaton College in Illinois.

His addition rounds out the Broncos’ staff, save for the assistant offensive line coaching job that was left vacant — again — by John Benton. About a month after Benton arrived in Denver, he was granted permission to interview for the 49ers’ offensive line coaching job and, on Tuesday, the team announced he was hired.
