The Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to trade players on Friday per a report from Dianna Russini on Twitter. The Broncos will get fourth-year inside linebacker Austin Calitro from the Bengals and will send sixth-year defensive lineman Christian Covington to Cincinnati.
Calitro, a former undrafted free agent in 2017, has spent time with six other teams in his short career. He has seen game action in each of the last two seasons totaling 81 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
The Broncos have a need at inside linebacker having lost Justin Strnad for the season and Todd Davis is still working back from a calf injury.
