Gary Kubiak is a man of his word.
Denver's coach said finding time to rest quarterback Peyton Manning and other veterans throughout the offseason program and even in training camp would be a priority. And so far, Kubiak has done just that, giving Manning regular days off for the first time since the 2013 season.
"He's not a big fan of it," Kubiak said of Manning, adding that Monday's workout wasn't a true day off for the veterans, who helped to coach younger teammates.

"It does make practices difficult on the coaches, because they're getting the young guys going and they're carrying the load.
