ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – On Friday morning, Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall was named the recipient of the 2015 Darrent Williams Good Guy Award.
Created in 2007 in honor of Williams’, who was tragically killed on the first of that year, and voted on by local media, the award is given annually to the player who, “Best exemplifies Williams’ enthusiasm, cooperation and honesty while dealing with members of the press.”
“To me, it means a lot,” Marshall said of the honor. “I was raised on integrity. For all of my peers to see me as this person and say, ‘Okay, he’s a really great person.
