ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Brandon Lloyd authored what was one of the best individual seasons any player has ever had for the Denver Broncos. He just so happened to do it in one of the worst years the franchise has ever endured.
Lloyd, who announced his retirement from the NFL on Thursday, led the NFL in receiving in 2010 with 1,448 yards. It is the third-highest single-season total in Broncos history (and was the second-highest single-season total when he did it), trailing only Demaryius Thomas' 1,619 yards in 2014 and Rod Smith's 1,602 yards in 2000.
