This offseason the Denver Broncos embarked on a major revamp of their secondary.
They sent shockwaves through the National Football League when decided to part ways with veteran safety Justin Simmons to help get them cap compliant for the new league year. It left a big void on the backend of their defense with respect to both leadership and play on the field. It’s safe to say a lot of Broncos Country was worried about how the team would go about replacing him.
In free agency, the Broncos signed Brandon Jones to a three-year deal worth $20 million dollars.
