The first time he introduced the Broncos first-round NFL draft pick Thursday night at the official team watch party at Mile High, Denver traded back.
“I’m so sorry,” Chubb said. The crowd didn’t seem to mind. And neither did Chubb when the Broncos made their choice at No. 20, picking Iowa tight end Noah Fant.
“I’m excited for it,” said Chubb, the team’s first-round pick a year ago. “He’s going to be a great weapon for our offense. We’ve got a guy like (quarterback) Joe Flacco who can air it out and a guy like Noah Fant running a 4.
