Tony Boselli’s long wait ended Thursday night when he was selected for induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The 49-year-old Boselli, who grew up in Boulder and attended Fairview High School, is believed to be only the third Colorado native (raised in the state) to make the Hall, joining Dutch Clark and Jack Christiansen.
Boselli, the first member of the Jacksonville Jaguars to earn Hall of Fame honors, and the Class of 2022 will be enshrined in Canton, Ohio, on Aug. 6.
Boselli was a modern-era finalist for the sixth consecutive year, the most among the final 15 candidates, and one of only two offensive linemen in the group (Willie Anderson).
