Bo Nix zeroing in on Broncos record

There haven’t been a lot of rookie quarterbacks to play for the Denver Broncos and even fewer are worth remembering.

In 1968, Broncos Marlin Briscoe threw for 14-touchdowns and set the bar for rookie quarterback success in Denver. Even during his rookie season, John Elway didn’t throw for that many.

Can you imagine a season where the great John Elway threw for fewer than 14-touchdowns? Kind of blows the mind when you think about it.

On Sunday, Bo Nix connected with Devaughn Vele and Courtland Sutton to add 2 more touchdowns, bringing his season total to 10-passing touchdowns through 10-games.
