ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – It was a day that has looked like no other in recent years around the Denver Broncos.
But 17 players – or 32 percent of the team’s 53-player active roster – were either held out or limited in Wednesday’s practice.
“It’s extensive, it was a little extensive last week and it’s gotten a little worse,’’ said Broncos coach Gary Kubiak. “ … I think we know if we’re missing some of these guys we know where we’re going.’’
In all eight players were held out of the practice and nine others were limited in what was a walk-through inside the team’s indoor training facility.
