ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Denver Broncos' medical staff got its first look at cornerback Aqib Talib's injuries Wednesday since Talib suffered a gunshot wound to his right leg early Sunday.
Talib returned Tuesday night to Denver -- he spent Sunday night in a Dallas hospital before being discharged Monday -- and arrived to the Broncos’ suburban Denver complex Wednesday morning, just before the Broncos’ team meeting.
"I saw him briefly this morning ... from there he was being evaluated medically," said coach Gary Kubiak after Wednesday’s minicamp practice. "... We sent him to our doctors.
