In his first game back from a health scare, Gary Kubiak helped the Broncos to a 27-9 victory and earned his first win over the team he previously coached, from 2006-13.
After the game, cornerback Aqib Talib — as only he can — presented Kubiak with the game ball.
“Hey, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up,” Talib yelled in the locker room following Kubiak’s post-game speech to his players. “The motherf******* leader back! Big win, man. Kubes’ first win against the Texans, baby. Welcome back, coach.”
The honor prompted a roar of cheers from players and coaches.
