The line dance has shifted to the other side of the ball for the Broncos.
The focus on the offensive line's youth and inexperience has given way, at least temporarily, to the defensive side. Fourth-year defensive end Derek Wolfe was suspended last week for the first four games of the season for violating the league's performance-enhancement policy. And free-agent acquisition Antonio Smith, who missed offseason training activities because of an ongoing investigation into abuse allegations against him in Texas, will slip back into the rotation when camp opens Friday.
For the preseason, the Broncos will have their full stable of defensive linemen.
