False Start
I do not write about false starts much, because they are pretty boring. If you do not want to be penalized, do not move early. However, there was an extremely interesting one in the second quarter that is worth our specific attention. Lining up almost at the goal line, Tampa Bay Center Graham Barton was flagged for a false start, even though replay showed he very obviously did not move abruptly or in a qualifying manner.
