3 Hall of Famers who spent the twilight of their careers with the Broncos

Running back Jamaal Charles signed on Wednesday a one-day contract to retire with the Chiefs after 11 seasons in the NFL. Most will remember his nine-year run in Kansas City, few will remember his days in Denver (and even fewer for his time in Jacksonville).

Here’s a look at some Pro Football Hall of Fame players who spent the twilight of their careers in the Mile High City:

Brian Dawkins, safety: “Weapon X” joined the Broncos in 2009 after 13 seasons with the Eagles. Dawkins played three years in Denver and was named to two Pro Bowl teams.
