The Denver Broncos added Dre Greenlaw at inside linebacker this free agency period to be a starter this coming season. If healthy—he could be a transformative piece for their defense. To shore up their depth, they also brought back veteran Justin Strnad who played admirably as a fill-in starter last season.
Outside of those two, the team still has Alex Singleton, Drew Sanders and Levelle Bailey who was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent. Three of those five players are coming off significant injuries over the past year. While I’m optimistic about the unit’s potential for the upcoming season, I do feel it would be in the Broncos’ best interest to add a linebacker somewhere in the 2025 NFL Draft.
