Star wide receiver Demaryius Thomas and the Denver Broncos have come to an agreement on a new multi-year contract extension, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The agreement comes just minutes after Dallas Cowboys wideout Dez Bryant agreed to a five-year deal at the same $70 million overall number. However, Bryant's contract will come with $1.5 million more guaranteed than that of Thomas ($45 million).
While both Bryant and Thomas balked at franchise tenders in hopes of landing a multi-year deal at the $16 million-plus per benchmark set by Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson, both decided to agree on offers at a lower rate in order to get things done before today's 4:00pm EST contract extension deadline for tagged players.
The 27-year-old Thomas had another banner season in 2014, hauling in 111 catches for 1,619 yards and 11 touchdowns.
