The Denver Broncos won't be losing ILB Brandon Marshall next offseason. The team has agreed to a four-year extension with Marshall today.
#Broncos & LB Brandon Marshall have a new extension as @MikeKlis & @TroyRenck said. 4 yrs, $32M with $20M in guarantees. Through 2020.

The Broncos lost Danny Trevathan this offseason, making Marshall the top inside linebacker on the roster. The $8 million per year average is among the top seven for inside linebackers. It's actually more than Danny Trevathan got from the Chicago Bears.
Marshall was a fifth round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2012 Draft. He made the Broncos practice squad in 2013 after being cut by the Jaguars. Since becoming a full-time starter in 2014, Marshall has racked up 171 tackles.
The Broncos are working on extending a few of their free-agents-to-be, such as Marshall. Next on the list are WR Emmanuel Sanders and OLB Von Miller.
