Denver has a bye in the first round of the playoffs, and will host a Divisional Round game next Sunday.
Manning missed six games while recovering from a foot injury, but returned to backup Osweiler in Week 17. He then replaced Osweiler, providing the Broncos with the spark they needed to pull out a 27-20 win over the Chargers to clinch the top seed in the AFC playoff picture.
Manning still leads the NFL with 17 interceptions despite missing those six games while passing for 2,249 yards and just nine touchdowns. Osweiler hwasn't been spectacular in his absence, but he has been a solid game manager who's done well to limit mistakes and push the offense forward, passing for 1,967 yards, 10 touchdowns, and six interceptions.
