The Denver Broncos are still without a starting-caliber quarterback with the 2016 NFL Draft just hours away, but has any progress been made in trade talks with the Philadelphia Eagles or San Francisco 49ers? If Denver does not pursue a trade, will the team draft a QB or try to fill another need?
Here is the latest Broncos draft day buzz.
Denver Hits Wall With Quarterback Search
The Broncos are reportedly looking at other options now that trade talks for Sam Bradford and Colin Kaepernick have stalled.
Denver does not expect Philadelphia to trade Sam Bradford to Broncos or to any team, per sources. Broncos now mulling other QB options.

Hearing Broncos trade for Colin Kaepernick by Sunday not likely. Not impossible but there have zero talks. #9news #9sports

If these reports are true, John Elway is going to have to draft a quarterback sometime this weekend in order to give Mark Sanchez some competition in camp. With several teams desperate to pluck from the elite crop of signal-callers in this year's class, Denver would eiher have to use its first-round pick to secure a guy like Paxton Lynch, or draft a middle-rounder to develop behind Sanchez.
Robert Nkemdiche-to-Broncos Buzz Continues
Ole Miss' boom-or-bust defensive lineman has been tied to the Broncos throughout the pre-draft process, and the buzz is still there at the eleventh hour:
Robert Nkemdiche's draft stock is falling like Shane Ray's did. Ray ended up a Super Bowl champion with the @Broncos pic.twitter.com/vuWRvAC5xf

Though Nkemdiche comes with some baggage, the upside he offers at the end of the first round could be too much for Denver to pass up, particularly with Danny Trevathan and Malik Jackson lost to free agency.
