The Denver Broncos were stunned by the Rams, as St. Louis knocked off the first place Broncos with a brilliant defensive performance against Peyton Manning and the Broncos offense.
Turning Point: Denver fell behind early and never had an answer for a strong Rams defense. The Broncos were shutout in the second half, and never had much of a chance to comeback from their six point halftime deficit.
Key Stat: Seven points in the fewest point total of the season for the Broncos, who had scored at least 20 points in every game this season, including 30+ in all but three.
Broncos MVP: Emmanuel Sanders - five receptions, 102 yards and a touchdown.
Sanders took the hardest hit of the week when he layed out for a pass and was drilled by the defender. He did not return, but still produced a 100+ yard game.
Rams MVP: Kenny Britt - four receptions, 128 yards and a touchdown.
Operating as Shaun Hill's go-to receiver, Britt stepped up and helped the Rams passing game to one of their best outputs of the season so far.
What's Next?
