Just two games into their 2013 campaign, the Broncos could already have lost one of their key players for the rest of the year. Left tackle Ryan Clady injured his foot late in Denver's 41-23 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday, and according to the Denver Post, the injury could be severe enough to end Clady's season.
Clady sustained a Lisfranc injury in the arch of his left foot, and will miss several weeks at the very least. Depending on the severity of the injury, the Broncos could decide to put Clady on the IR but designate him for return, or put him on the list without the designation, which would effectively end his season.
Chris Clark will fill in for Clady at left tackle until Clady's return - Clark signed a two-year contract extension on Monday, and is in line to make his first start since 2011 against the Raiders next Monday night.
