Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will be on David Letterman's final "Late Show" episode, which was being taped Wednesday afternoon at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York.
Manning has appeared on Letterman's show multiple times, and will be among those paying his respects to his 33-year run on the show, which makes Letterman the longest-running late night talk show host in history.
Manning and Letterman became friendly during Manning's days with the Colts as Letterman is from Indianapolis and an avid Colts fan.
Stephen Colbert will take over the show for Letterman.
