The Denver Broncos have just nine days to organize their attack strategy for the beginning of free agency on March 10th, and one Denver Post writer has identified three particular targets that could easily find themselves in the team's crosshairs next week.
According to Mike Klis, "among the free agents the Broncos might pursue next week are Kansas City center Rodney Hudson, Miami tight end Charles Clay and Baltimore (linebacker) Pernell McPhee."
While the aforementioned trio doesn't span the entire breadth of the Broncos' focus in fre agency this offseason, each player would represent an ideal fit for positions of need going forward for Denver.
The 26-year-old Hudson was a second-round draft pick of the Chiefs in 2011, and hasn't missed a game as the team's starting center since suffering a broken leg in 2012.
In regards to Clay, with the Broncos likely to be parting ways with tight end Julius Thomas, the Miami Dolphins standout would provided a cheaper option that would give the team needed explosiveness at the position.
Finally, 26-year-old Pernell McPhee raised his profile with a 7.5 sack season for the Ravens in 2014, and his versatility as both a pass rusher and in coverage makes him an intriguing asset for the Broncos to explore.
