The Denver Broncos have been down this road with linebacker Danny Trevathan's injured knee before. This time, they hope that an MRI doesn't reveal significant damage once again.
According to Mike Florio of NBC's Pro Football Talk, "on Sunday, Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan appeared to re-injure the knee that kept him out for several weeks from training camp and into the regular season. More will be known about his condition on Monday."
Per a league source cited by Florio, Trevathan left MetLife Stadium on Sunday without crutches or a noticeable limp. He is slated for an MRI on Monday when the team returns to Denver.
Trevathan returned from his initial knee injury last Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. He left Sunday's game against the New York Jets early with the apparent reaggravation.
