Two of the Denver Broncos' most valuable offensive weapons were banged up in the first half in St. Louis on Sunday, with both players' return status in major question.
Per Michael David Smith of NBC's Pro Football Talk, "Denver tight end Julius Thomas has exited with an ankle injury, and running back Montee Ball has exited with a groin injury. Both players are listed as questionable to return."
Ball has struggled with injuries all season long, while Thomas' presence in the passing game is a major tool for quarterback Peyton Manning both as a target and a decoy for other receivers on the field.
Stay tuned to Chat Sports for the latest on both players' injuries, as the Broncos attempt to come all the way back from an early 13-0 deficit under the arches in the Gateway City.
