Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman will miss at least two weeks after leaving Sunday's victory over the Oakland Raiders with a foot injury, Mike Klis of the Denver Post is reporting.
Per Klis, Hillman "suffered a midfoot sprain in his left foot Sunday, according to an NFL source. Broncos coach John Fox confirmed the injury, but only said Hillman was day-to-day."
It appeared that Hillman suffered the injury as he was attempting to go up for a Peyton Manning pass attempt. He limped off the field after that play, had his foot taped, and returned to the game.
Will Hillman hobbled, CJ Anderson broke out for 90 yards rushing and also turned a short pass into a huge 51-yard TD reception against a shocked Oakland Raiders defense.
Anderson will likely see an extended look behind returning starter Montee Ball for the next couple of weeks. Ball is expected to return this coming week after missing the past five weeks with a groin injury.
