In tonight's edition of Broncos news, the Denver Broncos have cut offensive tackle Mike Farrell after signing him to a futures contract back at the end of last season.
According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, with a pop culture reference which may miss the mark with a fair amount of younger fans, Farrell will heading through the waivers process prior to potentially becoming an unrestricted free agent (special thanks to ProFootballRumors.com) :

Farrell finished his career at Penn State in 2011, appearing in nine games after suffering a sprained knee in the Nittany Lions' opener against Indiana State. According to Penn State Athletics' official website, "Farrell was on the field for 152 snaps, with a high of 61 plays in the Big Ten opener at Indiana and 35 against Houston in the TicketCity Bowl. He earned Academic All-Big Ten accolades for the second time."
Farrell has failed to fully catch on with an NFL team as of yet.
