The 2015 NFL Draft is here, and there’s plenty of reason to be excited about the goings-on in Chicago if you’re a Denver Broncos fan. Here’s our breakdown of everything Broncos fans need to know heading into the draft.
Is Cedric Ogbuehi being tabbed to protect Peyton Manning?
Denver‘s biggest priority this offseason has been upgrading their offensive line to better protect the aging Peyton Manning, and they’re looking to draft a tackle with one of their first two picks.
If they decide to pass on one in the first round, Texas A&M’s Cedric Ogbuehi could be available in the second. The Broncos visited with the talented offensive lineman two weeks ago.
However, many scouts think Ogbuehi will be taken before Denver would get their second crack at him with the No. 59 overall pick, so they may have to move up in the first round if they want to get him.
What are Denver's first-round options on the O-line?
Florida’s D.J. Humphries, Stanford’s Andrus Peat, Pittsburgh’s T.J. Clemmings, LSU’s La’el Collins, and Miami’s Ereck Flowers are all options for the Broncos in the first round, provided they decide to look for an offensive tackle on day one.
The name to look out for is Clemmings. He's been linked to the Broncos for a good portion of the pre-draft process and his stock appears to be rising heading into draft day on Thursday.
