The 2015 NFL Draft is under a month away, which means draft trade rumors are about to get extremely loud around the league. The Denver Broncos are one team that could be in the mix for some draft day hijinx, but what/who exactly would they look to trade for? Here’s 3 Draft Day Trades The Denver Broncos Could Make.
1. Trade #28 pick to Titans for 2nd (#33) and a conditional mid-to-late draft pick in 2016
The Tennessee Titans could very well go defense with the #2 pick, staying away from whichever QB the Bucs don't pick at #1 between Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota. If that's the case, they could very well look to trade up from the early 2nd round to ensure themselves a shot at UCLA signal caller Brett Hundley. Seeing that Tennessee doesn't have a 7th-round pick in 2015, they could either offer a 6th-rounder this year or sweeten the pot with a conditional 5th (or 6th, if they're unwilling to play ball this year) in 2016.
2. Trade #28 pick to Buffalo for 2nd (#50), 3rd (#81), and 7th-round (#234) picks in 2015
The Bills don't have a first-round pick in 2015 after trading it to Cleveland last year for the pick that landed them WR Sammy Watkins. So, if new Bills coach Rex Ryan sees someone he can't live without projected on the outskirts of the first round, Buffalo very well could continue its recent trend of front-office aggression -- sending away a valuable gaggle of picks to Denver in return for the #28 selection.
3. Trade 6th-round pick (#203) to Tampa Bay for QB Mike Glennon
Glennon has a cheap cap hit of under $1 million for 2016, and could be a solid candidate to push Brock Osweiler in the event of a Peyton Manning retirement. While a 6th-round pick might seem high for a quarterback who has had trouble sticking in a starting role, a year of tutelage under the wing of Manning could do wonders for a guy who seemingly has all the tools to start in this league.
