The Major League Soccer Players’ Association released their biannual list of salaries for the members of their organization, and D.C. United’s unsurprisingly finds Wayne Rooney at the top, at $2.78M. That number is prorated for the amount of time he was here this season, so expect it to go up to the rumored numbers (around $6M) in the first salary dump of next year.
Right behind Rooney, mere pennies under $1M, is Zoltan Stiber; Stibi has been both a starter and a substitute this year, and while he has been great at times the team likely looks for more consistency at that number.
