The U.S. men’s national team will cap Coach Bruce Arena’s first training camp with a Feb. 3 friendly against Jamaica in Chattanooga, Tenn., the U.S. Soccer Federation announced Tuesday.
The match at 20,000-seat Finley Stadium comes five days after a friendly against Serbia in San Diego. Both fall outside the official FIFA calendar, limiting the roster options.
Arena will use the winter camp to evaluate MLS-based players ahead of critical World Cup qualifiers in late March against Honduras and Panama.
Arena, who last month succeeded the ousted Jurgen Klinsmann, will announce the camp roster later this week and welcome players Jan.
