Late this afternoon D.C. United released updated renderings of its stadium at Buzzard Point. The new illustrations show the entry point at Half Street and Potomac Avenue both on the ground and in the air, along with an aerial view from the southwest, facing the Washington Nationals ballpark and the U.S. Capitol, to name a few.
There is a meeting tomorrow to discuss remediation of the site that the city has to undertake before transferring the land over to the club, who would then begin construction. We don't know if the renderings were released ahead of this meeting, but it remains encouraging that things continue to move along in the process to get the Black and Red a new home.
