Washington Spirit forward Trinity Rodman has stepped away from the team to meet with a team doctor in London, her agent told The Washington Post on Saturday. The timetable for her return is unclear.
Rodman, who has been plagued by persistent back issues since her 2021 rookie season, will miss the Spirit’s road contest Saturday against the Orlando Pride. She is “taking time away from team activities at the moment to meet with [Spirit] doctor in London. She will return as soon as she’s healthy,” her agent, Mike Senkowski, told The Post.
