Thomas Tuchel named England manager, promising ‘passion and emotion’

Three months after Gareth Southgate resigned as England manager, the “new chapter” he called for has begun with the hiring of Thomas Tuchel as the soccer team’s new boss.

“I’m very excited and honored to be here as new head coach of England,” Tuchel told reporters in a Wednesday morning news conference at Wembley Stadium.
