Dawn Scott sees an information gap, a need to create a blueprint for training women in sports. And she’s pretty well positioned to do just that.
Scott oversees health and performance for the NWSL’s Washington Spirit, which is owned by Y. Michele Kang. This summer, Kang announced an innovation hub that, according to a news release, “will develop and incorporate a training concept unprecedented in women’s [soccer], based on the specifics of the female body, for the use and sharing of performance evaluation technologies, data analysis, globalized recruitment, and staff training.”
Scott is the hub’s executive director.
