Former D.C. United player Santino Quaranta is part of the latest class of the Maryland Soccer Hall of Fame, and will be inducted with six others in a ceremony to be held this coming Friday. Quaranta becomes the second D.C. United alum in the past six months to receive such an honor, following the announcement that Marco Etcheverry would become the first DCU player to the D.C. Sports Hall of Fame.
The 31-year old Quaranta played 180 games with D.C., the LA Galaxy and New York Red Bulls, though he spent 159 of those in Black and Red, scoring 25 goals.
