With yesterday marking the start of the MLS secondary transfer window, it’s transfer rumor time for D.C. United, who have been linked by Mexican reporter Marcel Munoz to a move for Tigres UANL and Ecuador midfielder Jordan Sierra.
Sierra, 24, has been with Tigres in Liga MX since 2018, but has been loaned to Lobos BUAP and Queretaro over the course of his time there. Last season, Sierra made 11 appearances for Tigres (starting twice). At Lobos and Queretaro, though, he was a regular part of the lineup. He has one cap for the Ecuador national team to go with extensive appearances at the under-20 level.
