The Black-and-Red have been attached to a slightly intriguing name.
An interesting report from Panama reporter Jose Miguel Dominguez caught our eye today, hinting that former Colorado Rapids player Gabriel Torres may come back to MLS, and possibly to D.C. United.
Let's go with what we know about Torres. The 27 year-old forward from Panama had his option declined by Colorado at the end of last year, his first when he no longer qualified at Designated Player money. He is currently playing with Zamora FC in the First Division of Venezuela, where La Furia Llanera are at the top of the table and Torres is at tied atop the Golden Boot table for his club, and for country, was recently named to the preliminary squad for "Los Canaleros" in this summer's Copa America.
