D.C. United's managing partner could be trying to add another club to his portfolio
A report from Italy suggests that Erick Thohir, the managing partner of D.C. United and president of Serie A's Inter Milan, made an attempt to purchase West Bromwich Albion of England's Premier League. The offer was turned down, but there remains speculation that Thohir wants to expand his ownership to England and may increase the initial offer.
The report also says that Thohir, with former Inter president Massimo Moratti, would like to sell 20 percent of their ownership stake to lessen their financial stake in Inter.
