For the second time in three years, the UEFA Champions League final will be an all-Madrid affair.
Real booked its place alongside crosstown rival Atletico on Wednesday by ousting Manchester City, 1-0, at Estadio Bernabeu.
The first leg in the aggregate series ended scoreless last week in England.
The final of European club soccer’s top competition is May 28 at Milan’s San Siro stadium (2:45 p.m. ET, Fox).
Atletico advanced Tuesday on the away-goal tiebreaker after dropping a 2-1 decision at Bayern Munich.
Spanish clubs are also on the verge of filling both spots in the second-tier Europa League final: On Thursday, Villarreal and Sevilla will seek to finish off Liverpool and Shakhtar Donetsk, respectively.
