Following the news that their striker Alhaji Kamara was in the United States in the hopes of securing a playing contract with D.C. United (and Steven Goff's tweet saying talked have had progress), IFK Norrkoping's Chairman (Peter Hunt) and Manager (Jan Andersson) have reacted to this news in the 'Norrkopings Tidningar' newspapers.
Andersson mentioned Kamara's coronary condition and confirmed Kamara and his agent are in the U.S. to seek a playing opportunity. Hunt, in a separate interview with NT, said they would be willing to allow Kamara, under contract until 2017, to leave on a free transfer, saying not only they have received a request for the player, but even going so far as so say, "I hope he can play and can handle it," the latter presumably referring to Kamara's health.
