Each year, Sasho Cirovski restocks the University of Maryland men’s soccer roster with blue-ribbon prospects from around the country. This month, as fresh faces gathered in College Park for the start of training camp, two newcomers with polished NCAA credentials also arrived.
A prolific recruiter of high school prospects, Cirovski does not need to take in many transfers. But with the arrival of Jake Rozhansky and Gordon Wild, the longtime Terrapins’ boss has added established pieces to a strong and deep returning group poised to venture deep into the NCAA tournament.
Rozhansky, a junior midfielder who trained with clubs overseas, played two years at Virginia and won a national championship in 2014.
