As we first let folks here know about here and here, the loan of rumored D.C. United acquisition Lucas Rodriguez has been made official by Estudiantes de la Plata. EDLP did not report terms of the loan, though it is believed to be between $450,000-$700,000 for the loan fee, and $2.5-3 million for the purchase option. Whether this includes the fee Atlanta United paid for his rights remains to be seen, and there is conflicting information on whether those rights are even still held. In addition, D.C. United sent $50K in general allocation money for his MLS discovery rights to Atlanta.
