Loudoun United’s last road game in Next Mexico found them land a first-half goal and weather a storm for a win. Loudoun managed to score an early goal to put their hosts on their heels, but it was not enough as the Tampa Bay Rowdies leveled minutes before halftime and again minutes before the end of the game en route to a 2-1 win in front of 4,322 at Al Lang Stadium.
There were a few changes to the lineup from Tuesday, with Barry Sharifi seeing his first start with Loudoun, as Nicky Downs returned to the starting lineup.
