Kevin De Bruyne, a generational midfield talent who helped lead Manchester City’s rise to global club-soccer titan, announced Friday that he will leave the Premier League team when his contract expires at the end of the season.
In a social-media post, the Belgian said he and his family “are beyond grateful for what this place has meant to our family. ‘Manchester’ will forever be on our kids’ passports — and more importantly, in each of our hearts.
“This will always be our home.”
